The next couple of days in Windsor and Essex County are going to be hot and sticky, so says Environment Canada.
With highs anticipated around 31 C on Tuesday, the agency said it will feel like 37 C with the humidity.
The humidex will hit 37 C again on Wednesday, although the region may get some relief if showers or a thunderstorm develop.
While the conditions on Wednesday shouldn't meet the threshold of a heat warning, they may pose a health risk to anyone not used to the heat.
Hot and humid air can also deteriorate air quality.
"Everyone is at risk from heat," said Environment Canada in a special weather statement. Older adults, infants, young children, and those with chronic illnesses are more at risk.
