Police look to identify suspect in assault investigation

Windsor police are hoping to identify a suspect after an assault on Drouillard Road earlier this month.

Officers were called to a convenience store around 11 a.m. on February 7.

A victim with a cut to his hand told police he was assaulted by a person who he believed stole his wallet and passport from his vehicle earlier in the day.

The victim tracked down the suspect after his bank card was used at the convenience store. He confronted the person and during the fight, the suspect pulled a knife.

The suspect took off on a bike. He is described as a white man with a slender build, blonde hair, and a moustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
