Man wanted for robbery, assault at a west Windsor drugstore

Windsor police are looking for a man who allegedly stole from a west-end business and assaulted an employee.

Officers responded to a call shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday at a pharmacy on Tecumseh Road West near Campbell Avenue. When they arrived, they learned that a man had entered the drugstore, taken items off shelves, and walked out without paying.

When a female employee tried to confront the man, he allegedly pushed her. She was not hurt.

The man fled the scene by bicycle, heading south toward Campbell Avenue.

Police have released an image of the suspect taken by a security camera.

The suspect is described as a White male, 40 to 50 years old, 5’ 9”, 160 pounds, with short grey hair and facial stubble. He was wearing brown pants, white shoes, a grey baseball hat, and a black winter coat.
