A section of North Talbot Road in Tecumseh remains closed following a commercial vehicle fire Tuesday morning.
Tecumseh Fire and Rescue, along with officers from the OPP's Tecumseh detachment, responded to a vehicle fire on North Talbot at County Road 8 shortly before 8:30 a.m. The vehicle was a commercial trailer hauling livestock.
The fire was soon extinguished, but several of the livestock perished. The driver was not hurt.
Investigators believe that the fire was mechanical in origin and non-suspicious.
