Employees at Stellantis' Windsor Assembly Plant have continued a tradition of helping those less fortunate.
Stellantis employees held a presentation Friday with Windsor firefighters and Unifor Local 444, presenting minivans stocked with new toys and a $5,000 cheque for Sparky's Toy Drive.
The ceremony is traditionally held during the holiday season, but was delayed due to downtime at the plant, which affected toy collection.
This was the 21st year that Windsor Assembly Plant employees collected new toys and donations for the toy drive, which went toward 3,200 children in need throughout the region.
