UPDATE: One suspect arrested, another at large after robbery and assault in Windsor

One suspect has been arrested, and another remains at large after a west-end store employee was assaulted and robbed.

It happened just after 9 p.m. Wednesday at a business on University Avenue West near Rankin Avenue. Police say two men entered the store. One distracted the employee while the other jumped over the counter and grabbed some vaping items.

The second suspect then jumped the counter, broke a glass shelf, grabbed additional items, and then pushed the clerk. The two men then ran out.

The first suspect, a 16-year-old male, has been arrested.

The second suspect wanted by police is described as a White male, wearing a black face mask, black balaclava, blue jacket, black jeans, and black shoes.

Police have released surveillance camera images of the suspects and are asking people to see if they recognize them.
