Kingsville businesses support local education through gift card promotion

An association of Kingsville businesses has raised $24,368 to support four schools.

Eat, Drink, Dine Kingsville sold $25 gift cards that patrons could redeem at local restaurants, butcher shops, markets and attractions.

The fundraiser is a popular way for Kingsville residents to provide local schools with essential resources, including educational materials and technological equipment.

"The overwhelming success of this program is a reflection of our community's dedication to supporting local education," said Gift Card Program Coordinator Heather Brown. "We are immensely proud of what we have accomplished together and are thrilled to continue making a positive impact on our local schools."

This year, the program will benefit Kingsville Public School, Jack Miner Public School, St. John de Brebeuf Catholic Elementary School, and Gosfield North Public School.

The program started in 2017 and has raised more than $150,000.

The association includes businesses like Banded Goose Brewing Co., Beach House Grill, Colasanti's Tropical Gardens, Eclectic Love, Koi Sushi, Kingsville Brewing Co., and Lee & Maria's.
