Man beaten with golf club

Two men have been arrested after allegedly beating a sleeping man with a golf club.

On Thursday, Windsor police were called to Grove Avenue in west Windsor where they found a man with multiple injuries.

Police say they discovered that two other men assaulted the victim with a golf club while he was sleeping.

A 26-year-old and a 39-year-old were both arrested and face charges of assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and wearing a disguise to commit a crime.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
