(BlackburnNews.com photo)The Ontario Provincial Police has ended its investigation after an excavation crew found human remains in Colchester.
The crew found them around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
OPP officers secured the scene and called in the Regional Coroner's Officer and a Forensic Anthropologist.
On Wednesday, the anthropologist determined that the remains were human, but historical in nature.
Investigators believe that this is not the result of a criminal act. There is no threat to public safety.
Lambton OPP are on the lookout for a break and enter suspect.
Corn, Soybeans and Wheat all finished mostly steady mid-week.
