Bright Lights Windsor kicks off Friday

It's December 1st and Bright Lights Windsor is about to get underway.

The opening ceremony is at 6:30 p.m. in Jackson Park, kicking off the city's festival of holiday lights until January 7th.

The displays will be open to the public every night from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

There's some new attractions this year including, LED chair swings, singing trees, and a light-tile set up that reacts to your steps.

There was going to be a corn maze, but that burned in a $100,000 fire last month.

Remember the Windsor Santa Claus Parade is Saturday through downtown starting at 6 p.m. at Ouellette and Wyandotte Street.
