Unifor Local 444 reached a tentative deal with management at the Lakeshore plant on Sunday, less than a week after about 900 unionized workers walked off the job.
The two sides failed to reach a deal by the strike deadline at 11:59 p.m. last Tuesday, after the union extended the deadline days before.
The workers had voted 99 per cent in favour of strike action.
The plant on Patillo Road makes seating for the Windsor Assembly Plant.
