Despite an increase in market activity, there was a slight drop in home sales in Windsor-Essex during October, as well as the average price.
According to the October sales report from the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors (WECAR), the average price of a home fell 1.98 per cent to $530,223, compared to October 2022.
Sales year-to-year also fell, by 4.92 per cent to 367 in October. In 2023, sales to date are down 16.74 per cent to 4,332 units so far.
WECAR reported 917 new listings for October, an increase from 771 the year before, or 18.94 per cent.
