Those attending Thursday's Emerging Technologies in Automation Conference and Trade Show will hear from Sungwoo Park, the planning director for the NextStar Energy battery plant in Windsor.

Thursday's conference at Caesars Windsor will attract more than 350 attendees, 45 exhibitors, and 35 presenters.

The conference is a signature event hosted by Invest WindsorEssex in partnership with Automate Canada, the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program, the Canadian Association of Mold Makers and the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade.

The keynote speaker is John Weigelt, the chief technology officer for Microsoft Canada.
