UPDATE: Police arrest second suspect in assault investigation

Windsor police arrested a second suspect wanted in connection to an assault on the city's west side Saturday night.

Police were called to the intersection of South Street and Millen Street for a report of a physical altercation. When officers arrived at the scene, they found multiple victims with serious head injuries.

Investigators were told the victims were confronted by two men in front of a house on Wells Street. The suspects assaulted and stabbed the victims before taking off.

The victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police tracked down one of the suspects who was arrested without incident. The 17-year-old is facing charges of assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm and failing to comply with a release order.

A second suspect, Austin Triggs, turned himself over to Windsor Police on Wednesday morning. He faces two counts of assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and assault causing bodily harm.

The charges have not been proven in court.
