UPDATE: Windsor police search for two men in Pierre Avenue shooting

Windsor Police are investigating a daytime shooting on Pierre Avenue and hope the public can help them find two suspects.

The incident began shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday on Pierre Avenue near Niagara Street.

Originally, the incident was classified as a police situation, but around 3 p.m., police tweeted that there was a shooting.

When officers first arrived, they found a 33-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds before paramedics rushed him to the hospital.

The injuries are serious, but not considered life threatening.
