Man arrested after break-in at downtown bank

Windsor police arrested and charged a person after a break-in at a downtown bank early Tuesday morning.

Around 3:45 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at a bank on Ouellette Avenue near Riverside Drive. They found a man trying to leave the scene with stolen items.

The suspect was arrested on scene and the property was recovered.

A 46-year-old has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, and possession of break and enter tools.
