Windsor woman can rest easy after winning CASH FOR LIFE

A Windsor woman likely doesn't have to worry anymore about her bills after winning $1,000 a week for life.

Christina Edwards won playing INSTANT CASH FOR LIFE and opted for the lump sum payment of $675,000.

The 60-year-old has been playing the lottery for years, but CASH FOR LIFE is her favourite.

She said it was a regular day when she stopped in at South Windsor Convenience on Dominion Boulevard and bought her ticket.

"I scanned it twice on the OLG App to be sure it was real," she told Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation officials while picking up her winnings in Toronto. "It was very exciting!"

With the windfall, Edwards plans to renovate her home and manage her finances.

The ticket is $4, and Edwards won the top prize.
