Windsor police say three people who were injured in a bizarre machete attack early Wednesday morning were sought out by the suspects.
Officers arrived on Wyandotte Street East and Langlois Avenue at around 3 a.m. and found three people with arm injuries. The group was sitting on a bench when a white van drove up and stopped nearby.
The victims told police that a man got out and attacked them with a machete. The man then jumped back into the van, which had two other people inside, and drove off.
All three victims, two female, and one male, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have now provided more information on the three suspects in the van. The man who wielded the machete is described as a tall, thin male with a tanned complexion. He was last seen wearing a facemask, olive green denim hat, and grey or black jeans.
The driver of the van is described as a White male, about 60 years old, with grey hair, and the passenger is a White woman, with light-blonde shoulder-length hair.
The Windsor police's Major Crimes Unit is still investigating.
