Police investigating second deliberately set fire at same location

An arson investigation is underway after a second fire at a building in Ford City.

Flames were reported at the building on Drouillard Road at Reginald Street around 4 a.m. last Friday.

It was the second time firefighters put out a fire at that location. The first fire was in mid-February and caused damage to a vacant rental unit at the back of the building.

On Friday, most of the damage was in a commercial unit at the front.

Investigators believe someone set both fires deliberately, and the damage is about $350,000.

There were no injuries in either incident.

Windsor Police would like to hear from anyone with information or security camera footage that could lead them to a suspect.

Anyone with information can contact Windsor Police Service at 519-255-6700, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or go to www.catchcrooks.com.
