Dates set for Leamington's Mill St. Market

The Mill St. Market in Leamington is back again with three summer dates.

The first market is on Friday, June 9, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The night market in uptown Leamington is a family-friend and free event featuring street food, handcrafted items, craft beer and cocktails, local wine, and live entertainment.

Mill Street closes for the event, creating a pedestrian only-area in the heart of uptown Leamington. While theatre and art displays are inside the Leamington Arts Centre, outside, local vendors will showcase their unique brands of gifts and food.

"We are happy to provide great community events that support quality of life for our residents and make our community a place where people want to visit and stay," said Mayor Hilda MacDonald.

Organizers are looking for vendors and volunteers now. Applications are available online.

The other two dates for the Mill St. Market are Friday, August 18, and Friday, September 15.
