Windsor police were on the scene of a serious collision in the east end for most of Wednesday afternoon.
Two vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash at Wyandotte Street East and Lauzon Road shortly after 11 a.m. At least one vehicle sustained significant damage.
Multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene, with at least one person taken to hospital. Police said later Wednesday afternoon that the person suffered serious injuries.

Investigators had closed a section of Wyandotte Street East, as well as Lauzon Road from St. Rose Street, for several hours while the Windsor police's accident reconstruction team determined how the crash took place.
The intersection has since reopened.
