Police search for suspects in arson investigation

Windsor police are looking for two suspects after a fire on Giles Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.

The fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. at a business on Giles Boulevard near Mercer Street. Windsor Fire and Rescue Crews extinguished the blaze but the building sustained around $500,000 to $1 million in damages.

There were no injuries reported.

The Arson Unit determined the fire was deliberately set.

Two people were seen leaving the area in a stolen U-haul truck when the fire started. The truck was found and seized as evidence.

Investigators are asking residents with surveillance cameras in the area of Giles Boulevard to check their footage for evidence.
