Windsor police spent some of Monday dealing with what was described as an "active investigation".
Few details are available, but officers were called shortly after 12:30 p.m. to the intersection of Lincoln Road and Richmond Street in Walkerville.
Officers were seen calmly waiting with weapons drawn, with others helping secure the scene.

Shortly after 2 p.m., police tweeted that the situation had been resolved. Lincoln Road at Richmond Street had been closed with all northbound traffic being diverted. It has now reopened.
Police would like to thank the public for their understanding as this situation was resolved.
