If you're looking for something to do over March Break, Museum Windsor has a week of activities planned.
The Chimczuk Museum and the Francois Baby House have scheduled a pair of new exhibits, along with events to keep kids occupied.
Making a stop in Windsor is Teiakwanahstahsontéhrha’ We Extend the Rafters, a children’s exhibition by Skawennati. Traveling from the VOX Contemporary Image Centre in Montreal, the piece is centered around a sci-fi retelling of the Haudenosaunee [Iroquois] confederation story.
On Saturday, March 18, the temporary exhibit Cycling in Windsor opens, which will chronicle the history and evolution of cycling in Windsor. Vintage bicycles and related artifacts will be on display.
Every day during March Break, except for Monday, kids will have a chance to create a craft, as well as participate in scavenger hunts at both the Chimczuk and the Baby House. On both Saturdays during the break, a guided art project will be offered at 11 a.m., with a pretend fire pit on Saturday, March 11, and a paper canoe craft on March 18.
The Duff-Baby House will offer free guided tours on March 18 from 12 noon to 4 p.m., along with free admission.
Complete information on Museum Windsor's offerings can be found on its official website.
