Windsor police are investigating a home invasion that left a 26-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. on Sunday at a south Windsor residence near the Charl Avenue and South Pacific Avenue intersection.
Police say four men arrived at the home in a white 2021 Toyota Rav4 and forced their way in. A man inside the home was assaulted and left with "injuries consistent with being stabbed," according to police.
A 35-year-old woman who was also inside was left unharmed.
The suspects are believed to have fled the scene on foot, as a vehicle was left behind. Police seized the Rav4 to be used as evidence.
