Windsor police seek fraud suspect

Windsor police are asking the public to help identify a person suspected of a series of bank frauds.

Few details have been released, but police say the alleged incidents took place between December 1 and December 5, 2022.

Investigators say the person used a bank account multiple times during that period, without authorization, to deposit a series of fraudulent cheques.

Police have released security camera images of the suspect and asked the public to take a look.

The investigation is ongoing. If you know who the person is or can provide additional information, call Windsor police at (519) 255-6700. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.
