Feedback wanted for Essex recreational master plan

The Town of Essex is asking its residents to help create a path for the future of its parks.

Residents are being asked to take an online survey as the Town puts together a Community Services Master Plan. Town officials will take the information gathered and use it to conduct a review of the parks and recreation department and suggest recommendations.

"This is a great opportunity for residents to share their input and help shape the future of our parks, facilities, and recreational services," said Mayor Sherry Bondy. "Public input is important to us, and we want to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our residents."

The master plan, once completed, will create a long-term vision for Essex's parks and community facilities. It will also lay the groundwork for future policy changes and initiatives. It will be created through a three-part process that will be completed by the end of April.

Residents can complete the online survey no later than January 30.
