Leamington man faces weapons charges after disturbance

The Ontario Provincial Police laid weapons charges against a 58-year-old man.

The OPP said officers were called to an apartment building on Talbot Street East in Leamington around 2:40 p.m. last Thursday.

Police said there was an argument in the hallway of the building.

The suspect faces two counts, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The accused was released from police custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice.
