OPP identify vehicle connected to rash of Lakeshore break-ins

The Ontario Provincial Police in Lakeshore is investigating following three residential break-ins on the same day.

The homes are on Wintermute Avenue, Whitewood Drive, and Traditional Trail.

All the break-ins were on Monday between noon and 3 p.m.

Police say the thieves took cash, electronics, and jewellery, and investigators believe the three incidents are connected.

At two of the homes, witnesses saw a small dark-coloured vehicle.

Police remind homeowners to lock their doors, windows, and vehicles when they leave and consider deterrents like an alarm system or surveillance camera.
