Windsor police are hoping someone can identify a man suspected in a violent robbery over the weekend.
It happened around 9 p.m. Saturday at a business on Walker Road near Division Road. Investigators say a man entered the store, took several items off shelves, then tried to leave without paying for them.

Police have released surveillance camera images of the man and asked the public to take a look.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 30 to 40 years old, bald and clean-shaven, with a medium build. He was wearing grey pants, a dark-coloured shirt and jacket, dark-coloured shoes, a black-and-white baseball hat, and glasses. He was carrying a grey backpack.
Anyone who knows who the suspect is should call the Windsor police's Major Crime Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4830. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.
