E-bike, dirt bike stolen from Lakeshore garage

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a burglary last week in Lakeshore.

Officers were called on October 29 to a home on George Kennedy Way. Police were told that the garage had been broken into the previous night, with an e-bike and dirt bike stolen.

The Essex County OPP Community Street Crime Unit joined officers from the Lakeshore detachment in the investigation, according to Constable Steven Duguay.

On Wednesday, officers obtained a search warrant for a public storage unit in the City of Windsor and recovered the stolen dirt bike.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.
