It's hard to say if the turnout at Windsor's advanced polling stations is an indication of what to expect for next Monday's municipal election but twice as many people voted early this time compared to 2018.
Manager of Records and Elections with the City of Windsor Terri Knight Lepain said 10,224 voters, or 6.6 per cent of eligible voters, cast a ballot over eight days of advanced polling.
That compares to 3.56 per cent over five days, or 5,348, four years ago.
The busiest poll was at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Centre in South Windsor on October 5. A total of 1,988 people voted during the first day of advanced polling.
The slowest poll was on October 9 at Mic Mac Park. Only 594 electors showed up.
The city provided a drive-thru option for the first time at five polls at Mic Mac Park and the WFCU Centre.
Sunday was the last day to vote early.
The next and final chance to cast a ballot is on Election Day on October 24. Your voter identification card will tell you where to vote on that day.

In the last municipal election, only 35.21 per cent of eligible voters voted, or 53,026 people out of 150,602 who were eligible.
