Fire officials reported no injuries after two fires in Windsor Thursday.
The first one took place in the afternoon at a building on Howard Avenue near Memorial Drive. One person has been displaced, and the home suffered $65,000 dollars in damage.
Windsor Fire and Rescue Services blames careless smoking for sparking the fire.

Firefighters were called to a second fire on Thursday evening on Riverside Drive between Jos Janisse Avenue and Pillette Road.

The cause of that fire was undetermined. The damage estimate for that incident is $100,000.
