A Windsor woman is almost $50,000 richer after winning the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation Mega Money Lottery.
Paulette Plante won the 50-50 draw for August. She'll take home $47,410.
Proceeds from the draw help buy vital cardiology, diagnostic, and critical care equipment at the Ouellette and Met Campuses. In the past, it's funded the purchase of a state-of-the-art 3D Digital Mammography machine.
So far, the foundation has awarded $1.4-million to past winners.
Tickets can be purchased online, five for $10, 50 for $25, 250 for $50, and 777 for $100. The deadline for September's draw is September 29.
