Windsor police say a man has been arrested and another is on the loose as they investigate a robbery and assault earlier this month.
At around 2 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, police were called to the area of Glengarry Avenue and Assumption Street for a report of an assault. The victim of the attack suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A total of four suspects were identified. Two were arrested a few days after the incident, and on Tuesday, police took into custody a 23-year-old Windsor man. He is charged with robbery and assault with a weapon causing bodily harm.
The only remaining suspect is 25-year-old Van Jean-Dedieu of Windsor, who is wanted for assault causing bodily harm. Photos of him can be seen above.
Jean-Dedieu is described as a Black male, 6'2", 160 pounds, with a slender build, brown eyes, and black hair.
