Firefighters tackle blaze at Ottawa Street pub

Fire officials are looking into what cause a fire Thursday afternoon at a popular Windsor bar.

Windsor Fire and Rescue was called shortly before 2 p.m to The Rockhead Pub on Ottawa Street between Moy Avenue and Gladstone Avenue.

It took about an hour for crews to extinguish the blaze. There were no reports of injuries.

Firefighters remained on scene to perform ventilation and determine the cause and damage estimate. As of 7 p.m. Thursday, neither had been determined.

Windsor police had closed Ottawa Street to traffic between Moy and Gladstone. It was reopened at around 4:15 p.m.
