If you saw it, you likely couldn't resist snapping a few pictures of it, a perfect double rainbow.
Windsorites were treated to the spectacle last evening, just as the showers tapered off.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson told WindsorNewsToday.ca that double rainbows aren't so unusual, but what is, is one so clear.
He said Windsor just had the right conditions.
"Some heavy rain moved through in the evening hours. Large droplets -- and you really need the large droplets to get that double rainbow effect," explained Coulson. "Perfect timing when it came to being close to sunset. You also need a low sun angle. The brightness is another big factor here, so no real clouds on that western sky to block that sunlight."
