Impaired driving charges after Tecumseh crash

A 25-year-old Windsor woman is not only recovering from her injuries after a crash early Monday morning, she faces impaired driving charges.

The Ontario Provincial Police investigated a single-vehicle crash on Outer Drive in Tecumseh just before 6 a.m., where they discovered the driver had allegedly been drinking alcohol.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On June 23, she will appear in a Windsor courtroom on charges of operating a motor vehicle while impaired, and having a blood alcohol concentration of over 80mgs.

The charges have not been proven in court.
