WPS receives 100 noise complaints through online tool

The Windsor Police Service received over 100 complaints during its month-long anti-noise campaign.

Through the online complaints, officers have identified problem areas and will be conducting enforcement actions.

The Windsor Police Service says residents could receive tickets for a number of offenses including stunt driving, improper mufflers, and unnecessary noise.

Police encourage residents to utilize the online reporting option for ongoing concerns. However noise caused by a loud party a family/domestic-related dispute, or yelling, please report it to the police immediately by calling 519-258-6111.

If the noise is believed to be linked to suspected violence, call 9-1-1.
