Man on e-scooter robbed

The Windsor Police Service is looking for a suspect who robbed a man on an e-scooter last month.

Around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, the victim was travelling in the area of Cameron Avenue and University Avenue West when an adult man blocked his path to stop him.

Investigators say the suspect demanded money, took the victim's cell phone, and coerced him to go to a nearby store to withdraw money from an ATM.

The suspect then took off on foot on Crawford Avenue toward Riverside Drive.

The suspect is described as a white man who is about 5'10" tall with a skinny build and blonde hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a blue baseball hat, a dark coloured zippered sweater with a hood, blue jeans, and dark coloured shoes.

Major Crime investigators are actively investigating this incident and requesting that anyone with surveillance video in the area of Cameron Avenue and University Avenue West, to check their footage for any evidence.
