The Windsor Police Service Amherstburg Detachment is looking for a suspicious person who approached a young girl this week.
Police say the man approached a seven-year-old girl around 3:30 p.m. Monday in the area of Crownridge Boulevard and Thorn Ridge Crescent. He enticed her to join him by offering her candy. The man had a young boy with him at the time.
The young girl declined and reported the incident to her mother.
The man is described as white, around 30-years-old, and approximately 5'8" tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a blue sweater with a hood.
Police are asking anyone in the area who has video surveillance or dashcams to check their footage for any possible evidence.
