The casino has reopened, but Caesars Windsor is keeping the curtain down on shows at its Colosseum for the time being.
Due to provincial guidelines limiting capacity at concert venues to 50 per cent, the entertainment and gaming complex has paused all Colosseum shows through March 31.
"We thank you for your understanding and patience and look forward to fully reopening The Colosseum as soon as we are able," said Caesars Windsor President Kevin Laforet in a media release. "We continue to fill The Colosseum calendar for spring and summer and are optimistic for the future and look forward to providing an exciting entertainment experience for our guests."
The March 3 performance by Loverboy and Honeymoon Suite has been cancelled, along with the March 4 performance by Slash.
Bachman Cummings, set to take the stage on March 11, will be postponed until November. A specific date has not been finalized.
Ticketholders for the cancelled shows will receive a refund through Ticketmaster, or by request through the original proof of purchase. Those with tickets to the Bachman Cummings show can hang on to them as they will be honoured at the rescheduled show. Those unable to attend the rescheduled show must request a refund through the original point of purchase.
Complete information on shows at Caesars Windsor can be found on the complex's official website.
