Transit Windsor announces new hours for sales office downtown

Starting Monday, Transit Windsor will implement new hours of operation at its terminal downtown.

The sales office at the Windsor International Transit Terminal on Chatham Street West is now open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On the weekends, the hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The terminal itself will be open until 9 p.m. each night so riders can take shelter from the weather, use the washrooms, and wait for their bus.

The sales office at the Transit Centre on North Service Road East remains open Monday through to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will close for the holidays starting December 18 to January 3, 2022.

Transit does ask the public not to enter the terminal if they feel unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19. Masking is mandatory inside the building.

Buses are running on an enhanced Saturday schedule from Monday to Saturday, and the Sunday schedule is unchanged.
