The Windsor Police Service has ruled out one of two vehicles of interest in a fatal hit and run two weeks ago.
The owner and driver of the black Chevrolet Equinox came forward and fully cooperated with investigators. Police say they have determined the driver was not involved in the incident.
On October 15, a man in his 80s was struck and killed while crossing the road at Janette Avenue and Elliott Street around 7 a.m. He has not been identified at the request of his family.
The man's family is pleading with the person responsible to come forward.
Investigators are now focusing their attention on identifying the other vehicle which is described as a dark coloured SUV, similar to a Jeep.
Police have just released new surveillance video of the vehicle in question.

This vehicle is seen on surveillance footage in the area around 7 a.m. on multiple days. Officers believe the driver may work in the area.
