Multiple reports addressing the future of Windsor's waterfront are coming back before Windsor City Councillors on Monday.
The report on the new location of the historic streetcar and building a canopy at the festival plaza were both deferred at an October 4 Regular City Council meeting.
Both reports are now on the agenda for a Special Council meeting starting at noon.
Concerned resident, Mike Cardinal, says neither development fulfils the intended purpose for the riverfront.
"We're far more passionate about the natural ribbon of the park, it's very narrow, it's very fragile, it's very easy to mess that up with over development," said Cardinal.
He's created a group called Rally for Our Riverfront. It's made up of people who are concerned about further development along the riverfront.
Among other recommendations, the group is suggesting the city build an addition to the Chimczuk Museum to house the historic street car.
