$7000 in illicit drugs seized from Leamington home

Five people face charges after a drug raid in Leamington carried out by the Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit.

On Thursday, investigators searched a home on Westmorland Street and seized around $7,000 of illicit drugs. Suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and weapons were all found at the address.

As a result, two Leamington residents are charged with possession with the purpose of trafficking and weapons related charges.

Another Leamington resident and a Windsor resident also face a charge of failing to comply with an undertaking.

A fourth Leamington resident is facing charges of unlawfully dwelling in a house, assault with a weapon, and failing to comply with an undertaking.

The charges have not been proven in court.
