Windsor police arrest robbery suspect

The Windsor Police Service has arrested and charged a 21-year-old man in connection to a robbery earlier this month.

On August 2, police responded to a robbery at a business on Huron Church Road near Northwood Street. It was reported a man entered the store, brandished a knife, and demanded money. The man took off before police arrived.

As part of the investigation, police released surveillance photos of the suspect.

On Tuesday, the Windsor police reported the 21-year-old had been identified, and was arrested and charged for the robbery. The charges have not been proven in court.
