UPDATE: South Windsor fire displaces two, causes $100K in damage

Windsor fire investigators say two people have been displaced following a Monday night fire.

Windsor Fire and Rescue crews were called around 7:30 p.m. to the area of South Cameron Boulevard, north of Northwood Street, on a report of a fire. The fire was soon brought under control with crews performing ventilation and was declared out around 8:15 p.m.

Investigators spent the night trying to determine the cause of the fire, which was revealed Tuesday morning as an accidental electrical failure.

The damage is estimated at $100,000. No injuries were reported.
