Youth vaccination clinic set for Wednesday

Young people in Windsor-Essex will have a chance to get a first or second COVID-19 shot this week.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has announced a free vaccination clinic on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sandwich Teen Action Group (STAG), on King Street in Windsor.

Anyone between the ages of 12 and 17, who has not received a first or second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, is encouraged to attend the clinic.

The clinic is on a walk-in basis and free of charge, with no health card necessary.

Vaccinations are also available at the former Sears store at Devonshire Mall and the Nature Fresh Farms Centre in Leamington. Both clinics are for walk-ins, or if you wish to make an appointment, you may do so at the health unit's vaccination webpage.
