Some streets in downtown Windsor will shut down late Friday afternoon for live music this weekend.
Ouellette Avenue will close between University Avenue and Wyandotte Street, and University Avenue West shuts down in front of Craft Heads Brewing Company for live music at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
In the 200-block of Ouellette in front of the Coffee Exchange, Madeline Doornaert and Dane Roberts perform. At 8 p.m., you can join jazz saxophonist Ted Hogan.
In Front of Lefty's, Andrew Seguin will play Top-40 hits on guitar from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and at 8 p.m., it's the Strange Cats.
On University Avenue West, listen to jazz and pop music performed on the piano by David Faulkner at 5:30 p.m., and The Fontaines at 8 p.m.
At 8 p.m. on Maiden Lane, it's the Coffee House Combo in front of Maiden Lane Wine and Spirits.
On Saturday, the music on Ouellette starts at 8 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. with Ted Hogan again in front of the Coffee Exchange and Faking Requests with Mark Calcott further up the street.
Starting at 5:30 p.m. in front of Craft Heads on University Avenue West, jazz trio Due North takes the stage, followed by Andrew Seguin at 8 p.m.
The Organization Trio plays on Maiden Lane West, also at 8 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the School of Creative Arts at the University of Windsor and hosted by the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association.
